Pastor Jason and his family joined us at May’s Chapel in July 2018. Jason has been serving in ministry for over 30 years. Here are a few tidbits to help you get to know our pastor:
How did you meet your bride?
Cathy and I met at our churches Youth Ministry.
What is your greatest joy in ministry?
I enjoy seeing people “get it.” Come to an understanding of who Christ is and what He did, receive Him and begin joyfully serve.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy woodworking, art, working in the yard, fishing, spending time with family and traveling.
If you could invite anyone in history to your birthday party, who would you gather to celebrate?
I would invite The Apostle Peter, John Wesley, Martin Luther King Jr, G.K. Chesterton, J.R.R Tolkien, Andrew Jackson, A.W. Tozer, C.S. Lewis, Viktor Frankl and Mark Twain.
What is your life verse? John 3:30. “He must increase and I must decrease.”
What is your favorite book or passage in the Bible?
I enjoy the Proverbs, The Gospels, Hebrews and James.
What music is downloaded on your Iphone?
Third Day, Need To Breathe, Eagles, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, The Commodores, Crowder, The Allman Brothers and Mandolin Orange
If you could visit any country and share the gospel, where would you go?
I would like to visit the Amazon river region to share the gospel.
